Description

The Rhode Island Children's Book Award is an annual book award administered by the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services, the Rhode Island Library Association, and the Rhode Island Center for the Book. The first book awarded the prize was 'Something Upstairs' by Avi; since then awardees have included The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dave Pilkey, Weslandia by Paul Fleischman, and Deep and Dark and Dangerous by Mary Downing Hahn.
