Susan Clausen is an artist, musician, and arts administrator living in Providence, Rhode Island. Clausen was instrumental to the founding of AS220 in Providence, Rhode Island and continues to serve as the property manager for the organization.

Clausen was born in Peoria, Illinois and graduated with a bachelor's in fine arts in light metals at the University of Illinois. She also studied at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Clausen works in mixed media, puppetry, and kinetic art.
