Walker Mettling

Walker Mettling is an acclaimed comics artist, printmaker, illustrator, and publisher living and working in Providence, Rhode Island.

Mettling co-founded the Providence Comics Consortium in 2010; the consortium publishes limited edition comics in the Providence area, and hosts comic books workshops in Rhode Island.<ref name=":0">{{Cite web|url=http://www.browndailyherald.com/2017/02/01/risd-museum-names-cartoonist-2017-artist-fellow/|title=RISD Museum names cartoonist as 2017 Artist Fellow|last=Sullivan|first=Connor|date=2017-02-01|website=Brown Daily Herald|language=en-US|access-date=2019-11-15}}</ref> Walker was one of Providence Phoenix's Local Heroes in 2013; the following year the Providence Comics Consortium acted as artist-in-residence at AS220's annual arts celebration, Foo Fest.
